Candle snuffers

Want to know how to be sure that our candles are made using 100% natural vegetable wax? The natural properties of vegetable waxes means you may see imperfections on our candles - specifically something called “frosting”. This does not affect the quality of your candle and it will burn well with a strong scent.We use all-natural soy, coconut and rapeseed wax in our candles and wax melts.

Our fragrances are always phthalate-free and cruelty-free.

All ingredients are vegan, sustainable, and/or recyclable or recycled.

Trim wick to 1/4″ before lighting. Keep the candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire-resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than four hours at a time. Stop use when only 1/4″ of wax remains.

The first time you burn your candle, make sure you burn it long enough for the wax melt pool to reach the edges of the container. Wax holds memory, and this will prevent your candle from "tunnelling" during future burns. Subsequent burns can be for any (safe) length of time.

Wax melts:

How to use wax melts: add the wax melt to the upper dish of your oil burner and light a tea candle on the lower part of the burner. As the tealights warms the dish from below the aroma will be released into your room from the wax melt. Never leave a lit candle unattended, and keep away from children and pets.

Seashell candles:

These candles are designed to be ornamental, however if you wish to burn them, it is advised to place them in a bowl of sand to stabilise them and avoid them tipping as the wax melts. Never leave a candle unattended. burn on a heat-resistant surface.

Unique container candles:

Please take care not to burn these candles right to the bottom. Soy wax melts at quite a low temperature, but when the wax gets too low the naked flame may cause the vessel to crack. Never leave a candle unattended and burn on a heat-resistant surface.

Reed Diffusers:

Turn the reeds every couple of weeks to prolong the fragrance life.

Fire starters/kindling with wicks:

Perfect for helping to get campfires, woodstoves, firepits, bonfires and chimeneas started. Place under wood and light the wicks.

WARNING: These are NOT candles. Do not light in your hand - they are designed to start fires and are highly flammable. Not suitable for gas fires, gas woodstoves or barbeques. Wax may drip as melting and pool underneath any grill.

We offer same or next-day weekday dispatch. Orders placed on Friday or Saturday may not be dispatched until Monday. The exception is for custom orders, but anything beyond our standard dispatch time is communicated before and at checkout.

We offer free UK shipping via Royal Mail 2nd Class service or Evri, which offers 48 hour delivery in the UK, and within 3 working days is the average. Delivery time depends on Royal Mail. Upgrade is available at checkout if you prefer the Express 1st Class service. Sometimes we may offer an alternative service such as Hermes, but this will not affect your shipping price or timeframe for delivery.

We ship internationally.

Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. Postage is charged based on a standard parcel, but if shipping costs more than what we have charged you, we will absorb the excess and never ask you to pay more. You would be responsible for any import duties necessary once it reaches your country.

Vintage Bookshop: The musky, woody scent of this candle has a rich and faintly masculine aroma, featuring hints of cashmere, leather, sandalwood, amber, vanilla and warm ginger.

Spiced Orange: The heady sentimental smell of Christmas spices, this scent has tones of orange, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Enchanted Forest: Evoking the fresh smell of a walk in a pine forest, this scent has the fresh fragrance of pine needles, cedar & oakmoss.
